Take a look inside this bespoke laundry room

A laundry room or storage space that's both beautiful and practical? It brings so much comfort and joy! We're excited to show you this project, fully equipped with custom-made cabinets. Every detail has been thought of: built-in washing machines at an ideal height, storage cabinets with space for an ironing board or vacuum cleaner, lower cabinets with a worktop, and a handy storage bench with space for shoes.

The laundry cabinet

The core of the laundry room: the washing machines! On one side of the room, the washer and dryer have been given a practical spot in a laundry cabinet. The design features appliances at an ergonomic height, with two pull-out shelves and a spacious storage drawer underneath.
Above the appliances, there is storage space up to the ceiling. A full-height cabinet not only keeps everything safely out of reach of children but also prevents dust from accumulating on top.

The pipes and faucets are neatly concealed behind the cabinet, with a removable back panel for easy access without moving heavy appliances. Neat and maintenance-friendly, exactly what you want in a laundry room.

Handy pull-out shelves in the laundry cabinet

This cabinet also includes handy pull-out shelves beneath the appliances, perfect for placing your laundry basket or detergent during washing. At Maatkasten Online, our pull-out shelves are equipped with durable, high-quality soft-close runners from Blum. The shelf locks automatically when fully extended and can be easily operated with one hand. The large drawers below can store detergents or your laundry basket, keeping your storage area tidy.

Extension with worktop and sink

The laundry cabinet is complemented by a lower storage cabinet with an integrated sink. With a sink, you can rinse clothes before washing, hand-wash delicate items, or wring out a forgotten sock. This lower cabinet features an open section and a closed section with doors.
The sink was installed by the handy customer, who made the necessary openings in the countertop, shelf, and back panel. At Maatkasten Online, we're happy to create such a lower cabinet to complement your washing machine cabinet, but we don't supply the sink or make extra openings for it. That's something you can add yourself!

Storage cabinets with a handy bench

On the other side of this room, there's a wall combination with custom-made cabinets: a tall storage cabinet, a lower cabinet with a worktop, and a handy storage bench.

Storage cabinet for vacuum cleaner or ironing board

In the full-height cabinet, a module was chosen specifically for storing your ironing board, tall brooms, or vacuum cleaner. This cabinet module is designed for laundry rooms, garages, or storage spaces. For example, you can take a bucket out of the cabinet without knocking over mops or brooms. Small details that make life easier!

A worktop for folding laundry

A smart choice in this laundry room is the lower storage cabinet with a spacious worktop. Here, you can easily fold your laundry after emptying the washer and dryer. Or unpack your suitcase after a trip and drop dirty laundry straight into the machine. This space isn't just about storage but also about usability. Such a worktop is truly multifunctional.

A custom storage bench

By the back door, there's a handy storage bench with space underneath for shoes. This allows you to comfortably put on and take off your shoes when entering or exiting through the garden. A perfectly fitting custom cushion, provided by the customer, completes this cabinet.

Industrial Green: fresh and soft

The entire laundry room is done in the green-gray color Industrial Green. This soft, timeless color matches beautifully with the light gray concrete floor and black accents and accessories. Black Pure handles, a black sink, black hinges, black door handles, and black switches—these details create a cohesive and harmonious space. From soap holders and black storage bins to green laundry baskets, every detail contributes to a 'wow' factor in this central room.
